What types of clothing can I send?
Best fabrics include:
- Cotton shirts
- Flannel shirts
- Woven fabrics
- Lightweight denim
Not recommended:
- Stretchy knits
- Heavy denim
- Leather or vinyl
- Crochet or knitted items
- Wedding gowns

How many pieces of clothing are needed for one bear?
Typically, 1–2 adult shirts or 3–5 baby or child garments are sufficient for one memory bear. More items may be required for special designs or multiple bears.
Do I get leftover fabric back?
Yes. Any unused fabric will be returned with your finished memory bear unless you request otherwise.
How long does it take to receive my memory bear?
Turnaround time is usually 4–6 weeks from the date your clothing is received. During peak seasons, turnaround may be slightly longer. You will be notified if timelines change.
How much does a memory bear cost?
Custom memory bears start at $125.
Optional upgrades may include embroidery, heart pocket inserts, creation videos, or certificates. Final pricing is confirmed before work begins.
Can you add a name, date, or message?
Yes. Personalized embroidery options are available and can include names, dates, short phrases, or initials.
Can I order more than one memory bear from the same clothing?
Yes. If enough usable fabric is available, multiple bears can be created from the same garments.
What if my clothing has stains or holes?
Minor stains and small holes are usually fine and often add to the story of the keepsake. Very fragile or heavily damaged items may need to be reinforced.
Will my bear look exactly like the photo examples?
Each memory bear is unique. While we follow a consistent pattern and style, placement of fabric and details will vary based on your garments. This ensures every bear is truly one of a kind.
Do you ship outside of Ohio?
Yes. We ship nationwide within the United States.
How do I send my clothing?
After placing your order, you will receive mailing instructions. Clothing should be clean, folded, and securely packaged.
What happens if I change my mind after sending items?
Because memory bears are custom and made from personal materials, orders cannot be canceled once creation has begun.
Do you offer refunds or returns?
Due to the custom nature of memory bears, refunds and returns are not available. However, if there is an issue with workmanship, please contact us and we will work with you to make it right.
Are my garments handled with care?
Absolutely. All clothing is treated with the utmost respect and care throughout the entire process.
Do you create memory bears and keepsakes for memorial services or funeral homes?
Yes. We welcome collaborations with funeral homes, hospice organizations, and celebration-of-life services.
